November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness month and I'm working on getting the word out about an event that PanCan and the Young Professionals of Chicago are putting to benefit pancreatic cancer research. You get to network and get two free drinks, all while contributing to research for a type of cancer that is grossly underfunded.

You can learn more at http://pancan.org/raiseyourvoice/ on how you can support the cause by contacting elected officials for specific pancreatic cancer funding. Did you know pancreatic cancer is where breast cancer was in the 1930's? Yet pancreatic cancer only receives 2% of the National Cancer Institute budget. We need help to change these statistics and pancreatic cancer's 95% mortality rate. Thank you for your support!
